About

Dr Fry is a Consultant Child and Family Psychiatrist and practised in the NHS as a Consultant and Clinical Director for nearly 10 years. He left to establish full-time independent practice in 2004 in order that he could build up and offer services of a quality that are no longer available in the NHS, owing to in-built and ever-expanding constraints.

He works with a selected group of colleagues from various backgrounds offering a multi-disciplinary approach to the wide spectrum of problems that are presented. Dr Fry worked exclusively as an Adult Psychiatrist for some years before entering the field of Child and Family work and is also a fully trained family therapist.  More recently he has formally trained in Functional Medical approaches (IFM) although he has been using this (whole-person and systems) thinking for some years now.

Dr Fry and Associates are all members of their professional organisations, fully accredited, and engage in regular Continuing Professional Development activities as required by their respective Colleges of practice. They also all believe strongly in the need for continuous review of our practice and working methods and have arrangements in place to ensure this occurs.

Associates

Dr Fry works with a group of therapists and professionals, some of whom have been with him since the beginning, with some joining over time. This network has grown over many years and offers a very high-quality service. Unlike some organisations, we work together, not separately, keeping in close touch around your needs.  Dr Fry works hard to keep this network connected.

Currently, Associates include:

Clinical Neuropsychologists, Child Psychotherapists, Counselling Psychologists, Educational Psychologists, Behaviour Specialists, CBT Therapists, Cognitive Analytic Therapists, Psychotherapists – Integrative, Interpersonal, Analytical, Equine Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Nutritional Therapists, EMDR Therapists and Hypnotherapists, amongst others.
